All the gold stocks are down. I'd buy more GOR but I'm prohibited by my fund to have more that 20% of the portfolio in any one stock. I guess I'll top up on some of the other gold and precious metal producers.
Last I checked, the connections from the semiconductors in people's smart phones, computers, and most every other bit of electronics were gold. Likewise, nearly all the connectors are gold plated. True, any one electronic device doesn't use much gold, but there are a hell of alot of devices out there and I don't see people using less electronics but rather more and more.
