On top of that I would be able to recover the rest of my investment with the sale of less than half of my remaining shares. In fact if FAS was to add a cash component on their offer, I may well have revovered my full investment without selling a single share.

So tell me again how GWR rejecting the offer is going to put money in my pocket? the current value of my GWR shares leave me with a paper profit of a miserly 10%, With the way the SP has been dropping lately, that small increase will soon be withered away to nothing.
