Whilst it's always nice to have a little confirmation bias, its also nice to hear from someone who recently visited the site. Most of what was discussed by Matt was nothing new (though I appreciated how he was able to stress just how pitoval the U/G decline is and the benefits that will flow on from this, plus... it's basically enabling U/G production being brought online quickly........ yes the extra full stops are for the poster I mention below), but I really liked near the end, where he mentioned that the labor issues are really retreating and gold producers are arguably benefiting substantially, especially with productivity due mostly to less staff turnover (multiple benefits).
Whilst I don't want @Undaunted to get a big head, I do feel on balance, it's a pretty good time to be brining a mine online (or at least, bring it on in the next 12 months). Perhaps some follow OBM, which I think has proven that with a good team, going U/G is achievable in less than 12 months (even reaching commercial production rates). This is just another reason why RMS is perhaps looking so seriously at SPR (though I noted that the MoM team suggested that RMS would not even use the Dalgaranga plant, which... I doubt (as I have posted, I think RMS has an awful lot of ore but it's mainly lower grade open pit, which... Dalgaranga is easily able to chew through), , but.... I guess if RMS wanted to truly high grade Mt Magnet, Never Never and Pepper could do this).
I suppose today's share price move is due to a confluence of events, higher POG, conferences coming up, MRE coming up and.... small chance I guess, but air core finding something.
