the question is.... how long can merger talks stay under wraps before needing to be disclose to shareholders and the market.....
interim and continuous disclosure must be adhered to.. so holding back and announcent while "merger" negotiations are going on is plausible. This has a shelf life though and an imminent announcement should not be parked too long.
