I don’t know him either twouptom, bar his public timeline here and hearing some interview comment.

However, on small evidence, I think it is not in Simon’s nature to accept a low takeover bid and dump mates at the same time simply so can liberate himself to engage with NST (has he aspirations there?).
If nothing else, surely this kind of move, would carve out a rather untrustworthy reputation for him?
