If Deb is on the money, then close to 40% of SPRs free float traded hands in less than 2 weeks.

Would also be very interesting to know exactly how many shares the board hold (staff as well, as SL has been very proactive in rewarding all staff with shares in the company). As from the Sept Annual report 2023, there were 80m performance rights, that is approx 6.5% of the company.





I think there are also a large amount of retail that hold substantial holdings (that just sit under the cut off for the top 20). Basically, the top 20 used to hold 70%. So around 490 holders hold 20%.

Off topic, but... unsurprisingly all sorts of thoughts pop into my head as I post away.
RMS is likely to announce a expanded dividend, not just because they are making incredible profits, but... because it will be timed to further assist with any offer they may to SPR shareholders (they have done this before).
I also wonder what the rehabilitation costs are going to be for Edna May (as... if SPR gets swallowed, we will all be liable for it).

RMS is currently hedged, but... hypothetically, if SPR was to get into production by later next year, enlarged RMS would basically be unhedged with a 400k production profile.



RMS may well be happy enough to bide their time in the near term and see how the registry settles, though again, time is against them, as SPR is, IMHO, only going to find more ounces and the clock is ticking on Edna May.
