It is scandalous that Australian competition laws allow a company with a banking license to buy and operate assets in a different industry in this manner .
This is unfair competition . Ordinary companies can't compete with a company which can basically create it's own debt money from thin air .
What would Aussie consumers think about buying their gas from a bank ? Surely there would be a backlash .
Whole thing stinks and shows the finance industry is out of control and needs to be reigned in .
