The Mobile acquisition is certainly an interesting situation.
What possible reason could any serious oil company have to acquire LKO. They have no substantial evidence to confirm any potential find whatsoever.
If a serious exploration company did find a desirable factor to acquire this company. Perhaps for the investor base or the infrastructure.
What makes you think this would not be a hostile takeover that would likely initially add no value for shareholders. I simply cannot find any criteria that would suggest anything but a drop in share price should this scenario eventuate.
