As Mellon Corp operating as a holding company for a number of other companies has a voting power of 42% at what level does a take over come into play. Because it comprises a number of parasite companies does this reduce the level whereby a take over is enforced? Could someone please explain in layman terms? Thanks you in advanced. There seems to be a number of players including the ASX who do not have shareholders interest.
