I totally agree with you, but I will go one step further and say let the banks fail.
Another thing I have noticed is the increased margin between the RBA base rate and the banks retail rate.
I rang my bank the other day and confirmed the discharge rate of a loan we have over a property.
By the end of the conversation they dropped my rate by another 1%.
If you don't ask you may not get.

The Chinese....well they will be the world super power and sooner than I thought. We must retain our assets in Australia if we are to sustain any sort of reasonable future for our kids.
