Take Stock

Just sifting through some old stock specific files of stocks that I used to own. I opened up the Appen folder and saw that I purchased a chunk in 2021 at an average price of $14.95. I must've set a stop loss because I dumped the lot at an approximate loss of 10% and the transactions from buying to dumping occurred over only 9 days with an average sell price of $13.47

So, over the past week or so, I've started to reconsider a position into Appen. It can only go up from here...right?

So I started fishing around looking for some sort of confirmation bias as to why Appen might be good investment. Then, when I was searching through my spotify music library, I saw that I had a folder specifically related to investment podcasts that I hadn't visited for a long time. That's when I clicked on this and gave it a listen;

Some of you may already have listened to it. I found their perspective on all-things-Appen quite interesting. I'll say no more. For the record, these people don't always get it right, but in this instance, they seem to be in tune. Especially when talking about "the narrative" around particular stocks
