This year, the last 3 times I followed FT recommendations, walked away with at least 5% on the short-term trades. I am hoping that they are right once more.
The key is to find the right entry point.
When trading, as stocks start to go up, I increase exposure, when they start falling I take profits and minimize exposure... and slowly add to holdings and pray that I get the timing right. Doesn't always work - lost a few times before, but overall success rate is around 70%. Key is to minimize loss and the profits will take care of you. There are few long-term holdings, which I intend to hold for 5+ years and I like to top up when they make end of world predictions. Gotta do what I gotta do to remain calm and rational.
Good luck casperwjt whether you are going long or short.![]()
