gz, i no longer hold caz but rio were responsible for getting their application in on time, NOT the courier.

could you imagine if everyone blamed aus post for not getting their prospectus share applications, share rights applications and options transfer applications in by the due date????

rio were responsible for ensuring the application arrived on time and if that means sending it 4 weeks early or following up the applications transit progress with the courier AND contacting the warden to see that it was recieved by the date of expiry then thats what should have been done.

nobody else is responsible except rio and courier/transport companies are guarded against delivery failure by the clause that says NOT RESPONSIBLE.
