"Nuclear disaster" is a little deceiving binbin given the loss of life from the twin natural disasters and so far no human toll from the impact of the tsunami knocking out the backup power generators of the nuclear plants. You suggest people should be "finding out as much about the disaster" and yet is seems you have little understanding what happened and how.

Happy to have the debate anywhere though would appreciate people coming in anti uranium to address the frequent coal and oil accidents as well as environmental impact in their views against uranium.

As an old left winger, used to be proud of uranium free zones but like so many goofy notions of the 70s and 80s, it now seems irrationally fear based with little relevance to how safe and clean nuclear energy is today.
