It is likely related to their new gold exchange which they are adding silver to in the next months. Soon you will likely be able to buy gold/silver from Russia/China/India/Brazil using their new reserve currency, likely over a blockchain also. If BRICs can makes its reserve currency a more free alternative to the USD, with less restrictions and overwatch it will do fantastic IMO. A good currency needs to be free from political control as much as possible IMO.
