The problem is that the plant design of using a simple washing technique was set when the RP price was $115/t, and there were huge levels of optimism about the price going up. There was no backup plan for a sustained drop in price, and we’re now suffering as a result.
It wouldn’t be prudent to continue to operate the current plant at a loss.
