Extra money had to be coughed up to avoid dilution agreed but the $$ spent that made this necessary have largely been spent on product and assays and research required to create the MOA and assay on same for which a newly minted patent has been granted. Newly minted so that's 20 years protection.
Think about the 20 years returns that patent may create as the stem cell snowball grows huge in that time.
It may be the best money the company has ever spent.
