Harrydent, i think you are quite correct. The debt is collectable when the original purchased debt is of the right quality and bought for a reasonable price. CCP has six or seven years track record to prove this point.You would hope that with the Repcol going under and CLH having to be more cautious since its problems of a couple of years ago, the Debt collecting industry and the sellers of debt whose customers have to be dealt with by the debt collectors have to work out lucrative deals for both parties.The banks or whoever need quality companies to process their debt collecting because the present debtors are likely future customers if handled correctly.If they screw their prefered buyer of debt everybody loses.
Downsize, overheads and staff,pick the eyes out of the debt they have,concentrate on customer relations and wait for sensible debt purchase prices and quality.
They did this before. All the structure is in place and management do not need to lose their direction again.
