I took the money and ran on GDO. Made money, but very disappointed that the bidder can pay the CEO $2m as part of the bid; compromises the CEO (encourages them to no longer act in the interests of shareholders) and should not have been permitted. At a minimum that aspect of the bid should have been at the TOP of the announcement and not on page 86 (or whatever) of the bid documents, and the CEO should have been disqualified from all consideration of the bid.
