any less than 27 and I would be quite shocked, anything over 30 and I would be satisfied.
Speaking of GDO I was also a holder of GDO.
Yes a takeover deal often doesnt quite offer full value, neither did the GDO deal. I ended up selling out my holding at about 51 after the offer was announced. Yeah GDO hadnt 'peaked' and probably couldve gone a little further, but at the same time i was about 70% up so I couldnt complain. I then looked for other opportunities after that and found 2 companies... One was NGF and the other was MAD, both of which I was buying from august through to november. NGF I average 19, and it looks like I'm going to make a healthy profit and MAD I average 21.8... I dont think i need to mention how MAD has gone on to do ;)
There are ALWAYS more opportunities on the stock market. If something gets 'close' to fair value, (imo only) take that deal and find something else disgracefully undervalued.
Of course this is all just speculation till we see the facts and figures... NGF, my most boring stock just got exciting!
EEEEk I cant wait I love when corporate actions start affecting the companies I'm involved in... It's always so intriguing!
