from the point of view of a long-term investor with real estate background I'd say there is a strong possibility -not to mention that it was rumoured about couple of years ago that Mirvac was very keen on SDG, however the strong spike in the SP deterred them from pursuing it any further.

Sunland has some fantastic assets and good revenue stream not to mention great deal of cash and very little debt which makes it very difficult to resist by those developers that want to grow significantly and yet unable to do that organically in a timely manner.

I suspect lendlease are now doing their Maths on SDG.

either way Sunland will continue to grow strongly no matter if there is a takeover or not.
