ive been calling about a takeover by westpac for months now. they own over 16 percent its when it will happen rather than if IMO. westpac needs to move on it quickly i doubt they want they price to go much furthur. it could still be a year or two away. The way i see it if westpac integrates into merchants machines by mid year as zip have suggested it would only make sense for westpac.
