Something that has puzzled me, is why no one has suggested that shareholders vote no to the one billion part of the equity raising.
SHAREHOLDERS,...THIS NEEDS OUR APPROVAL, WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT IT!
Instead, we put forward a shareholders initiated motion for this billion to be raised via a further RENOUNCEABLE share issue (like RIO's) to shareholders.
Especially after the initial oversubscription by major investors, AIO's financial position is not currently dire, so why do we have to continue to allow them to assume ownership of this further large tranche of AIO's assets at bargain basement prices.
This whole selloff was under the guise that AIO were in financially dire straits (perhaps they were).
THEY NO LONGER ARE!
Would this be difficult? -Yes.
Impossible? -No.
Time for action ladies and gents.
Comments please.
