takeover bid coming

Perhaps the explanation of the price capping is, someone wanting to obtain a big position supresses the price and then makes a takeover offer at a favourable price maybe7cents,which will surely pull out a large number of shares. If they try to accumulate a large number of shares slowly, that will be noticed and when they reach a 20% holding they have to make an offer anyway, which will then have to be made at a much higher price.
