It was speculated and mentioned yesterday by a colleague that his broker had heard that a takeover bid was reason for the trading halt. I scotched this and said I reckoned it was the Russian news or something to hold the space like "patents lodged". However as with all rumours I tossed and turned in bed last night churning it over. Now how much would someone be willing to pay at this stage? Would sla sell at this stage to a big cashed up ($billions in the bank) pharma coy? How much would the bid be? $8, $10, $16? See how the rumour gets at you? Any thoughts from the crew on this one?
