Another better value takeover target is Treasury Group (TRG). It has $17.05 Billion Funds Under Management and a Market Cap of only $92.47 Million.
PPT is just a business with no value intrinsic value. Anyone launching a takeover would be asking to lose money.
With a valuation based on Funds Under Management, PPT should be about $160 million, to be generous. This is $800 million less than current value or a share price of $4.28 (have assumed they are over chaarging clients, so earnings and dividends will decrease).
