Unless I am completely misreading the play here, it seems to me that AWE.
Either get full control of ADI at cheap prices.
OR
Their offer pushes the share price up, which in turn increases the value of their existing majority shareholding.
You can't realistically blame them for having a crack, there doesn't seem too much downside for them.
