0924 [Dow Jones] Oxiana (OXR.AU) likely to be heavily traded again today, with
newspapers full of rumors Xstrata (XTA.LN) set to make takeover bid. OXR up 4.5
cents at A$1.03 yesterday. OXR operates profitable Sepon gold/copper mine in
Laos, but of particular interest to XTA will be OXR's Prominent Hill project,
where a massive exploration effort is underway to prove a potentially world
scale copper/gold resource. OXR likely to rise again today, if trading
