Maybe in the short term, but I doubt it will be anything REA can't match.
The drop today is about that anticipation of increased slending and lower earnings.
Longer term will Co star be able to change the dynamic meaningfully? History suggests no when it comes to these network effect incumbents.
Interestingly, REA had a go at buying Rightmove on its share weakness in the UK partly due to Co star buying a smaller competitor in that market. So, I doubt think REA would be panicking.
