I am sure you are not even close to getting control of FAR with a 50-75% premium.
For the 90% of shares needed for compulsory acquisition of Far I would be surprised if three times that was successful.
A lot of the substantial holders have very optimistic views on the potential of the larger field and most have the resources to wait for a much bigger pay day.
Even amongst more moderate sized holders I am impressed how many intend to hold through to first oil.
