jeanluc - thanks for the wishes for my continuing presence on this earth. I've inherited longevity genes from both my parents but sadly that's been offset by my own less-than-optimal personal health regime. So, advancing to old/older age for me is a bit of a coin toss.
Still, as lovely as it would be to see VAU's share-price boom in the near-term, it's not a pressing matter. If the gold price holds up for a few years, no doubt the current caution around the stock will change (if they meet production targets as well). In the meantime, most Australian indices are near record levels and the year to 30 June 2025 should have been a pretty profitable one for most Australian equity investors (and particularly for investors overweight in Australian gold stocks).
I know you pride yourself on what you consider the "factual content" of your posts. However, I can't recall ever predicting a share-price at 50-75c, so I'd have to question the factual content of at least that statement from your post earlier today.
As for the posters who've you've named as possibly having "disappeared", perhaps they've simply moved on and are spending a lot more of their time analysing and investing in other stocks.
