Interesting article regarding Dexus capital raising in Fin Review. Some mention that they will benefit from being the first REIT to do the cap raising.
IMO Just like CBA share price was weakened when NAB beat everyone to the cap raisings, WBC a close second and CBA took forever to do their botched cap raising
In my opinion VPG does not need to so a cap raising (like ANZ didn't need to) but that still saw ANZ's SP impacted in anticipation. though did bounce hard after investors finally realised they really really didn't need one and banks rallied.
Anyway VPG SP too low for a cap raising of any significant proportions (MCabe situation different).
No posts from me tomorrow, I'm going to practise what I preach and be patient
