a flicker of hope in that IF Dexus really did want to acquire Valad in a takeover they wouldn't tell you until -

A) they have completed their capital raising
B) they have acquired at least 5% and lodged their first substantial holder notice a few days after (by then under corporations law they could have acquired up to 19.9% before they announce their intentions)

the above of course if very hypothetical, I'm happy to hold for the long term in the belief that sooner or later people will see the value in Valad and the SP will gravitate towards it's intrinsic value, IMO it is currently grossly undervalued at present
