Late last week BHP has been encouraged to look for take over possibilities from its major shareholders. They already partner with WPL and the desperation to provide gas for LNG plants just may prompt BHP to boost its energy holding and a deal with Shell and Woodside maybe the way to go. Just looks a real possibility with the synergy etc and protection of national interests.
