Takeover Offer by Uniti Wireless (UWL)

Street Talk is reporting an imminent takeover offer from Uniti Wireless (UWL) in a cash and scrip bid of $5.20 per share.

I’m not sure if there are any other holders who frequent HC as I seemed to be talking to myself in the other thread, but my immediate reaction is NO. Tiny takeover premium and while we are trading at a decent PE this great little business hasn’t put a foot wrong since IPO in June 2019.

Not that my piddly shareholding will have any effect on a vote on the transaction but I hope OPC tells UWL to sharpen their pencils. Like the recent IFN takeover offer, this seems like an opportunistic bid and if UWL want control they should pay up
