Point is the 90% is near on impossible without them, and on this one there will be no vote.
I was still keen on COE (not as keen as on IPM) but IPM has assets Scott and COE might covet for good reason (now that coveting, greed, gluttony etc are no longer sins), the actual move as a hostile bid is dumb and messy, like throwing a spanner in the works.
A high risk shallow shelf explorer and an incremental mature field onshore producer is not a marriage made in heaven. Scott needs to get his wells drilled and find some oil, instead of waiting for BPT to do it for him, or stealing someone elses.
