Can't see why anyone including Petrochina would see any...

Can't see why anyone including Petrochina would see any advantage in putting forward an proposal and then going public after the board dismissed it (given the company is basically controlled by major holders on the board).

Something is going on though, otherwise why would there be these sellers at 29.5c determined to block the sp from going higher.
Anyone with a theory on this? Imo the sp is being pushed down and seems as if someone is trying to scoop up as many shares as they can at 29c before lobbing in their own offer???
