Any thoughts on the decision of the Takeovers Panel, released after Friday's close? BBC, BNB & Lend Lease have given undertakings not to proceed prior to 17th November. It then contemplates the possibility of a superior proposal being introduced prior to November 17th, with "superior" being opined on by the independent directors of BBC. Does this mean PTN are being invited to come up with a better deal for BBC shareholders before Nov 17?
