They operate following the legal rules at least on the surface. You should trust their judgement on company's intrinsic value and potentials which reflected on their position, but not their price target or any recommendations. They will never tell you their target.
they usually focus on long term target which retailers are less patient about. When their investment logic on the company not change, they will hold it.
apx value can be reflected in the market in long run not short term. If takeover happen, only these giant whale can enjoy it
