No (actually make that Hell NO!!). Why can’t they just work with us in partnership? A takeover might provide some quick profits for shareholders but it’s not difficult to imagine a better long term return for holders once the mine is up and running, expansion progressed and particularly once three year price cap for the concentrate expires. I continue to think it’s opportunistic and a little frightening that a strangely complex Chinese consortium might march in and take over another great Australian asset.
