This was placed in "care and maintenance" in 1999. The news about running out of ore has been known for a long time, and they still have enough mined and stockpiled to allow milling until 2020 or so, and perhaps later if the new extensions at Ranger pay off.
So nothing here to explain the sudden sell off.
