Id rather see them produce for another year - that would give them close to $400 mill in cash. And would see them close to $3 per share. If they continue with exploration and adding to reserves from their own tenements - it would come at no great expense whereas, trying to pick up a decent deposit via takeover of another co would come at great expense due to most gold cos having risen in price. Taking over other cos cheaply ended last year - i think SLR last take over was as good as it gets for a while. In saying that, i would expect excess capital to be returned to shareholders next year in form of a special div - esp if POG rises much further over the coming 12 months - rather than spend it unnecessarily on buying assets that may be only as good as their own current deposits. imho.
