Alf holds more than 50%. Even if your conjecture is taken at its highest (which would mean Alf is lying- a very serious accusation), no one can do jack even if there is an EGM, with Alf saying no.
Knowing Alf, I can clearly picture him telling you: "Mate, read my lips, no means no."
