takeover ...sale jabal sayid ???

Yesterday s announcement has got me thinking beyond square and digging ( excuse pun )and reading into announcement for some answers .

I note with particular interest the following " that shares issued have been placed int escrow for 8 months subject to board recommended takeover or sale Jabal Sayid Mine "

I find myself thinking the following......

a) Could this be the start of something big ie transmine using 5% shareholding as platform to launch takeover bid for CGG , if not increase over time its shareholding significantly and take position in this company as Glencore ( also very large commodity trader ) does in other listed miners eg MRE

b)is it possible that this deal has been done with the view of CCG in medium term selling down its interest in Jabal sayid to either Transmine or others.
