Just because an independent director who no longer speaks (sorry should no longer speak for the company) mentioned something in the AFR I'd be wary. Without authorisation I'm surprised that one has actually gone through to the keeper at ASX actually. He is not the Chairman and he is not the CEO.

Really hoping for a resolution here but (at the risk of sounding like a broken record like some of our other friends) i don't think we have a united board and that might make BAU a challenge for those who wanted to walk away or who were promised a tasty morsel in the new privatised entity....
