Hmmm... I might start believing in conspiracy theories about the Kenyan government reaction to this find.
Couldn't be an election coming up, trying to keep a lid on spending promises from the other side? Also with Tullow hunting onshore maybe they think they have enough "good news" for now.
It is all very odd. VERY strange reaction.
No mention of the Kenyan newspaper that announced "oil find" a few days before the gas announcement was released?
And I agree, we do want to maintain the excellent relationship with Kenyan Authorities.
