For what this is worth:
2-3 years ago I mentioned that Nestle was under scrutiny from a very large Activist firm called 3rd point run by Dan Loob
In their activism paper, A2 was specifically mentioned as a company to watch in relationship to acquisitions
For those interested, you can go to the nestle or 3rd point website and read the paper.
no idea if the speculation is accurate but the activists was definitely interested in A2
