From memory A2 has several number of ongoing Federal cases against various companies over their marketing of A2 products. They usually just play out in the background and aren't that widely reported on.
They have come out on top in several cases against Lion Dairy, including a recent one in which Lion was opposing A2's trademarking of "A2 Milk" and "True A2".
They won another against Parmalat in 2019 who was opposing their use of "A2/A2 Genetics Verification". In the US, they recently achieved a settlement against Braum's.
They have a significant ongoing case against Open Country Dairy over its use of 'Open Country A2'. They have filed similar opposition to other companies such as Care A2+, Dairy Farmers, and lots of others.
It seems that more often than not, they are ultimately successful or at least achieve legal settlements that are beneficial to their brand.
