re: takeover target??
Stephen Main of Crikey.com said FXJ is not likely to be a takeover target. PBL is not interested in moving into print media apparently and NWS would own too much media and would face a lot of opposition from the ACCC. Furthmore with this latest acquisition it is just getting too big to be taken over. He said it was more likely to be the one doing the taking over. Might be better off looking at the smaller players...SBC, TEN maybe, AEO I think SBC is the only one that has an open register and can be taken over relatively easily without opposition from a major stake holder.
