?[Debra] Heartware was just at the Barclays Conference ? the stock got a little bit of lift from that; it is obvsiously in the heat-procedures class. [Jim] Right, the limitation [of Heartware] is a surface one ? it looks like they only come into play when you?re trying to wait for a heart transplant. But, I think that what they?re really gunning for is to be an artificial heart company ? we?ve seen this before, and to really help the pumping process. The reason why we emphasize this is because Cardio is an area where we can save a lot of people?s lives, and anything that is remotely connected with Cardio is immediately gets pn this instant approval ? it?s really incredible, they fast track it ? like that fast-track for diabetes. We were trying to show that this is the group to own; Omaba & Peggy Hamburg, the head of the FDA, have said, look we?re going to rush these things ? and Heartware has got a lot of things in the pipe that I think can be rushed. [Debra] You mentioned that the FDA did just accept their PMA application [for HVAD BTT] ? it seems like they?ve got a lot of things happening there. [Jim] I think they do. I think that Obama in his ?On Sunday with Business? speech gave this as his example; I?ve not been able to find other examples of where he really is ? it?s kind of like his, listen, if someone says are you anti-business, hey look at what I?m doing with device companies. And, Heartware, I think, is a classic example? I think what Heartware ultimately is, and I don?t recommend this on my show, is a takeover target. You want to have a heart franchise, like Abbott & J&J both want a heart franchise ? you just buy Heartware ? I think that?s what happens??
